Role :
working 11am-7pm (Monday through Friday) Location of this job is at 500 Industrial Court. About the Role The Logistics Clerk II is responsible for optimizing the flow of goods, finished and raw, through Teel Plastics. This position supports the Logistics department by receiving incoming shipments, coordinating deliveries, and loading outgoing freight. In addition to this, they will have the knowledge of shipping UPS/FedEx shipments. The Logistics Clerk II is also gaining responsibility for material handling ensuring the proper materials are issued and returned to and from the production areas and will be knowledgeable on inventory practices.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
(Prefer in descending order of significance) Analyzes and interprets Teel pick tickets and pack slips for shipment. Physically and electronically moving finished goods from the production areas to staging areas. Know how to operate in shipping portals (TMS) and how to set up shipments of goods. Aid in Material Review Board requisitions. Understand how to use IQRF for shipment. Analyze and interpret work orders, blending materials as needed. Understand how to use and read the IQMS production schedule. Understand the established QSP's and use them to better document best practices. Know all safety requirements of the department and demonstrate the knowledge by promptly reporting any concerns. Use safe driving and forklift practices. Maintain and clean and organized workspace. Store materials in the most accessible and efficient means possible. Perform all necessary data entry functions to ensure data function and control. Aid in physical inventories Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School diploma 2 or more years of warehouse experience Training and experience with ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning) Prior forklift experience Knowledge of CoC/CoA requirements Preferred ISO knowledge 2 or more years' experience in a manufacturing environment, extruded plastics preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Ability to use Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Travel Requirements 0-10%
