Your expertise will help ensure safe, efficient, and precise installation processes on diverse construction sites. Duties Lay out and install underground pipelines according to blueprints and technical specifications Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to excavate trenches and move materials efficiently Read and interpret construction blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure accurate pipeline placement Use specialized tools like pipe lasers for precise alignment and welding equipment for pipe joining when necessary Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks around pipeline installations to secure proper support and stability Locate existing underground utilities using utility locating equipment to prevent damage during excavation Maintain safety standards by adhering to construction site protocols, including proper use of PPE and safety checks Skills Proficiency in heavy equipment operation including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks Experience with pipe laser alignment systems and welding techniques for pipeline assembly Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical construction documents Knowledge of concrete finishing, forming, plumbing systems, and concrete pouring techniques Familiarity with utility locating methods to identify underground infrastructure before excavation Construction site experience with a focus on pipeline installation or related infrastructure projects Strong understanding of oil & gas pipeline standards and safety regulations Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly contribute to vital infrastructure projects!
