Job Title:
Pipe Fabrication and Installation Job Description The Pipe Installer installs, assembles, and secures piping systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. This role measures, cuts, threads, and bends pipes using a variety of tools and equipment, and ensures all installations meet quality, safety, and performance standards. The Pipe Installer works closely with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to coordinate work, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate documentation of all activities. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and secure pipes, fittings, and related components according to blueprints, schematics, and specifications. Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery. Inspect worksite conditions and prepare all required materials, tools, and equipment before starting installation activities. Test piping systems for leaks, pressure integrity, and proper operation, and document test results. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to coordinate installation activities and resolve technical issues. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and any changes made to piping systems. Hands on experience in a massive commercial construction project. Structure is standing, taking part in the mechanical and plumbing installation, not exposed to the elements. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is industrial and construction-focused, involving installation and maintenance of piping and duct systems in facilities such as plants, commercial buildings, or similar sites. You will regularly use hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery for cutting, threading, bending, and fabricating pipes and sheet metal. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Jeffersonville, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
