Job Summary The Pitch Clock Operator is responsible for the real-time, highly accurate, and seamless operation of the stadium's official pitch clock timing system during all home games and events. This role is critical to maintaining the rapid pace of play dictated by league regulations, ensuring game compliance, and coordinating directly with game presentation staff to seamlessly display timing violations and execute corresponding sponsor elements. Roles and Responsibilities Operate the ballpark's official pitch clock timing hardware or digital interface accurately and seamlessly in real-time during all home games Monitor and strictly enforce the precise timing regulations between pitches, individual batters, and half-innings to maintain league-mandated pace of play. Identify timing infractions instantly and communicate seamlessly with the official scorer and field umpires to properly enforce infractions. Coordinate closely with the Press Box Leader, Game Director, and PA Announcer to ensure that any pitch clock violations prompt the correct live audio announcements and branded digital graphic integrations on the scoreboard. Perform essential pre-game system checks, clock configurations, and basic troubleshooting of the A/V timing equipment before gates open to ensure flawless functionality. Other Duties as

Contribute to the overall success of the organization in any capacity needed. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Exceptional, unwavering attention to detail and situational focus, especially under the quick-moving pressure of a live event Strong, fundamental understanding of baseball or softball rules, with a specific focus on modern pitch clock timing parameters and pacing guidelines. Technical aptitude to quickly learn and comfortably manage computerized sports timing devices or digital control software interfaces. High level of teamwork and communication skills to stay tightly coordinated with production directors, scoreboard operators, and announcers. Ability to work a highly flexible game-day schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the season.
