Overview "Come work towards Ownership" Well established pizzeria in historic Dahlonega, GA Looking for an experienced Pizza Chef with a minimum of 2 years of experience that is ready for the challenge of working towards operating their own restaurant. We're building a brand and a culture and are looking to develop and invest leaders from within with future expansion of the brand. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Manage all aspects of pizza station operations, including ingredient prep, cooking, plating, and presentation Oversee inventory control and food costs for pizza ingredients, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste. Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness while controlling labor costs Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning, new pizza recipes, and special dietary requests Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen activities Assist with catering events and banquet functions that feature pizza offerings or related menu items Experience Proven experience in food production within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment, ideally with casual dining experience Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in a kitchen setting Background in banquet service, catering, or large-scale food service management is highly desirable Familiarity with inventory management, food handling procedures, and kitchen safety protocols Strong knowledge of culinary techniques related to pizza making, dough preparation, and toppings assembly Experience in managing shift operations, menu planning, and overseeing food service delivery Previous roles involving kitchen management or restaurant experience that showcase leadership capabilities in the food industry Join us as a Pizza Chef where your culinary talents will shine!
