Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney with 3-7 years of experience to join our growing team in Chicago. This is a high-impact, trial-focused position offering significant hands-on experience and the opportunity to manage a robust caseload while developing strong litigation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury matters from inception through pre-trial stages Conduct case investigations, evaluate liability and damages, and develop case strategy Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and motions Take and defend depositions, including plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel Prepare cases thoroughly for trial, including pre-trial motions, mediation, and trial strategy Collaborate with support staff and other attorneys to ensure efficient case handling
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar 3-7 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently Strong experience handling cases from intake through pre-trial preparation Trial experience is not required, but candidates must be comfortable preparing cases up to trial Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
