Plant HR Generalist Kacmarcik Enterprises vision insurance, paid holidays, 401(k), profit sharing United States, Wisconsin, Osceola 805 Seminole Avenue (Show on map) May 01, 2026 Description At Kapco Metal Stamping, our people are at the heart of what we do. We are looking for a Plant HR Generalist who is passionate about employee engagement, compliance, and building strong partnerships with plant leadership. This role is a key on-site HR partner supporting day-to-day human resources operations while helping foster a safe, positive, and high-performing workplace culture. The Plant HR Generalist serves as the primary human resources partner for our Osceola, WI manufacturing facility. This role supports employee relations, recruiting and onboarding, performance management, compliance, training, employee engagement, and general safety support. You will act as a key liaison between plant leadership and Corporate HR, ensuring alignment with company policies, programs, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR questions and concerns Coach supervisors on performance management, attendance, and disciplinary practices Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions Support conflict resolution and promote a respectful, inclusive, and safe work environment Employee Engagement & Culture Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives supporting morale, retention, and plant culture Organize employee events including recognition programs, safety celebrations, milestone events, and holidays Gather employee feedback through surveys, listening sessions, and informal check-ins Partner with Corporate HR to share insights and recommend engagement improvements Recruiting & Onboarding Coordinate hourly and salaried recruiting efforts in partnership with Corporate Talent Acquisition Support hiring practices aligned with corporate standards and policies Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding programs at the plant HR Administration Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data Process employee status changes and ensure timely communication with Corporate HR and Payroll Administer benefits enrollment and serve as a liaison between employees and Corporate Benefits Track attendance, PTO, leaves of absence, FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation Compliance & Policies Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws Implement and communicate corporate HR policies at the plant level Support audits, reporting, and compliance initiatives in partnership with Corporate HR Safety Support Promote a strong safety culture and support plant safety programs Partner with plant leadership, Safety, and Corporate Safety teams Support workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs Participate in safety meetings, audits, and inspections as needed Training & Performance Management Coordinate plant training programs and required certifications Support annual performance review and goal-setting processes Coach managers on performance feedback and documentation standards Track training completion and report metrics Corporate HR Projects Assist with corporate HR initiatives, system implementations, and policy rollouts Participate in cross-functional and cross-location HR projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field 3-5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment PHR certification strongly preferred Working knowledge of employment laws, OSHA, and workers' compensation Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion What We Value Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through Clear, respectful communication and a collaborative mindset Alignment with our company's core values What We Offer Competitive compensation and benefits package Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment Strong partnership with Corporate HR and plant leadership Meaningful impact on employee experience and plant culture About Kapco Metal Stamping Kapco is known for investing in its people and creating a culture of engagement, and is equally as committed to giving back to the community.
