Plant Manager Parker Hannifin Corporation $91,600.00 - $152,750.00 / yr parental leave, paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), retirement plan United States, Missouri, Slater 532 West Lincoln Street (Show on map) May 12, 2026 Position Summary Position Summary and Responsibilities Lead a high-performing manufacturing plant using the Parker Lean and Win Strategy to deliver world-class safety, quality, delivery, and cost results. You'll own site performance end-to-end-developing people, improving processes, and driving profitable growth through operational excellence and disciplined strategy deployment. What You'll Do Lead Site Performance (SQDC) Own and improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics across the plant.
Set clear targets, drive accountability, and ensure daily management routines are effective.
Ensure a strong compliance culture across EHS, quality systems, and operational standards. Deploy Parker Lean & Win Strategy Translate strategic priorities into execution via strategy deployment.
Build a sustainable continuous improvement culture using Parker Lean tools and behaviors.
Drive measurable improvement through kaizen events, value stream optimization, and waste elimination. Build a High-Engagement, High-Accountability Team Coach and develop leaders across operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, and maintenance.
Strengthen leadership standard work, talent development, and succession planning.
Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and problem-solving at every level. Optimize Manufacturing & Flow Improve throughput, productivity, and OEE through standardized work and process capability.
Strengthen materials planning, inventory turns, and overall supply chain performance.
Lead capacity planning and support new product introductions (NPI) and industrialization. Financial & Operational Ownership Own the plant budget, cost structure, and performance to plan.
Deliver annual productivity targets and margin improvement initiatives.
Ensure smart capital planning aligned to strategic growth and reliability needs. Key Success Measures Improved performance in SQDC.
Sustained Parker Lean maturity (daily management, leader standard work, problem solving).
Strong employee engagement, reduced turnover, and visible leadership development.

Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business discipline A minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment of which three years was in a team leadership role Automation and robotics experience preferred. LEAN manufacturing training or experience Experience using ERP Commercial knowledge Outstanding communication skills Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to build and lead a team through change Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills Strong organizational skills Ability to work without direct supervision Plant Manager is expected to be onsite 5 days a week.
