CMC and its affiliated companies utilize cutting edge technology to provide exceptional levels of product quality and customer service. With over 60 years of industry experience, we provide solutions for the most complex plating and dual coating requirements. CMC services the automotive, heavy truck, off-road, agriculture and energy sectors. Current coating capabilities include Zinc, Zinc Nickel, Zinc Iron, Tin, Tin Zinc, Nickel, Electroless Nickel, Phosphate and E-Coat. Let CMC supply the missing piece to your finishing puzzle by expertly solving your finishing challenges. About the Role We are seeking an organized, systems-driven Plant Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and the safe, efficient operation of all plant equipment. The Plant Manager oversees all aspects of operational performance and ensures objectives are met in alignment with company standards. Key responsibilities include the following:
Lead manufacturing operations according to best practices. Plan, organize, and drive facility results through performance metrics, budgeting, and forecasting. Steward the team as they meet or exceed production and defect targets. Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results. Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions. Create and maintain reference materials and audit processes. Model and foster a process-driven environment which includes continuous improvement. Responsible for performance feedback and leadership of all direct and indirect reports, including mentoring, coaching, and corrective action. Ensure that customer requirements / contractual commitments are met. Implement and maintain systems to ensure all process parameters are maintained.
