Plant Manager

• Base Salary to 160k/year
• Thorofare, NJ Our client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead operations at their Thorofare, NJ facility.

This role will oversee plant performance with a strong focus on Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily manufacturing operations including production, scheduling, and quality control Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (process optimization, waste reduction, cost savings) Monitor and improve KPIs including throughput, labor efficiency, scrap, and on-time delivery Manage plant-level P&L performance, including cost control and productivity improvements Direct production planning and capacity management to meet customer demand Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes, equipment utilization, and plant layout Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and manufacturing best practices Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance and Sales to align production with business needs Assess staffing levels, workforce planning, and capital equipment needs Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field 8+ years of operations leadership experience within a manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience leading Lean / continuous improvement initiatives with measurable results Experience with Lean tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, process standardization, waste reduction) Plant-level P&L responsibility or direct financial management experience Experience in CNC, wood products, metal fabrication, or similar discrete manufacturing environments Experience managing production scheduling, capacity planning, and plant operations Experience developing and implementing standardized manufacturing processes Proficiency with

Base salary in the 140k
