MN ABOUT THE ROLE
Perform maintenance, equipment operation, grounds and housekeeping tasks necessary to maintain buildings, grounds and equipment managed by regional business entities.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Performs emergency and routine repairs and maintenance on plant equipment and structures at the site locations. May perform routine preventative maintenance on mobile equipment. Conducts routine inspections of plant and mobile equipment. Assists in various projects at the plant locations to make sure production is maintained. Responsible for maintaining the appearance of the plant and yard area by using general housekeeping practices. Perform assignments outlined by supervisors and standard procedures are followed in the performance of duties. (Work is inspected periodically for safety and economy in operation). Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors and customers serviced. Safely perform maintenance activities to insure plant efficiency. Performs other duties as time permits or as assigned. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving an adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Field of Study Preferred:
N/A Required Work Experience:
Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent combination of Education and experience. Excellent equipment operation skills.

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim Approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employee that are required to war respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
