Plant Security Guard

Local 119 (SPFPA)

Shift:

12 hr shift. 2-2-3 rotation - 8 pm to 8 am

Responsibilities:

Accurately weighed inbound and outbound freight using industrial scales and completed all related documentation, including weight tickets, arrival/departure logs, and cargo records. Monitored and controlled site access by verifying and authorizing entry of personnel, visitors, and vehicles onto company premises. Conducted routine surveillance of the premises to maintain site security and operational safety. Authorized and tracked vehicle and personnel movement while ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety protocols. Operated truck scale systems efficiently to process inbound and outbound shipments in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient computer skills and experience with standard office and security-related software systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent surveillance, monitoring, and observational abilities Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, dependable, and able to maintain professionalism at all times
