Job Description

Plant Technician Hiring Direct Placements Up to 85K on day shift Job Description The Plant Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance of natural gas-powered engines. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of the plant by starting, stopping, and operating large engines, monitoring equipment, recording data, and maintaining compliance with all safety and environmental requirements. Responsibilities Start, stop, and operate large natural gas-powered engines. Monitor equipment and record data to ensure efficient plant performance. Maintain compliance with all safety and environmental requirements. Collaborate with dispatch to meet power demand. Perform preventive and corrective repairs on plant equipment, including LNG and heat recovery systems. Troubleshoot plant equipment issues. Manage work orders and track parts and inventory using CMMS. Support ongoing equipment repairs, overhauls, and replacements. Essential Skills Mechanical skills and aptitude. Proficiency in troubleshooting and engine repair. Experience with hand tools and electrical wiring. Knowledge of maintenance repair processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience as a diesel engine mechanic, industrial electrical or mechanical technician, or agricultural equipment technician. Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Strong communication, listening, and team participation skills. Willingness to learn and be developed through leadership feedback. Why Work Here?
