Plow Operator & Directional Boring Operator

Overview We are seeking an

EXPERIENCED CABLE PLOW

OPERATOR and

DIRECTIONAL DRILL OPERATOR

to join our Fiber Optic Communication Construction company. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in executing underground fiber utility installations with precision and efficiency. The positions offer immediate opportunity to operate heavy equipment, including cable plow, horizontal drilling machine, and excavation equipment on large projects local to the Thumb Area. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Operate cable plow and/or directional drill to install underground fiber optic lines with accuracy and safety. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assist with excavation tasks to prepare construction sites for utility and hand hole installation. Coordinate with team members to execute construction activities efficiently while following detailed plans and technical specifications. Maintain documentation of work performed and safety checks. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment including directional drills, plows, and excavators. Prior construction site experience involving utility installation is preferred. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A) with clean driving record

STRONGLY DESIRED

for moving equipment to/from jobsite. Knowledge of safety standards related to horizontal drilling and underground utility installation.

Pay:

$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
