Job Title:
Plumber Job Description This role focuses on commercial plumbing work for one of the largest construction projects in the state, contributing to the safe and efficient installation of complex plumbing systems. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and maintain commercial plumbing systems in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation to plan and execute plumbing installations. Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and equipment for commercial applications. Install and connect fixtures, valves, and related components to ensure proper operation of water, drainage, and vent systems. Inspect completed installations to identify and correct leaks, defects, or code violations. Collaborate with other trades and team members on-site to coordinate work and maintain project timelines. Follow safety procedures and site regulations to maintain a safe and organized work area. Use appropriate testing methods to verify system integrity and performance before final sign-off. Document work performed as required by site procedures and project guidelines. Essential Skills Proven experience in commercial plumbing work, preferably on large-scale projects. CurrentP1 OR P2
plumbing license. Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing codes, standards, and best practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical specifications. Proficiency with plumbing tools and equipment used in commercial installations. Ability to work safely in a construction environment and follow established safety procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working on high-profile or large-scale commercial construction projects. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving plumbing issues. Ability to collaborate effectively with other trades and construction professionals. Reliability and strong work ethic with a focus on quality workmanship. Why Work Here? PAY $40-$50 an HOUR Work Environment This position is based on a commercial construction site, working with large-scale plumbing systems and related equipment. You will work primarily on-site during standard construction hours, with potential for extended hours depending on project needs. The environment involves active construction areas, requiring adherence to safety protocols and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brewster, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
