Full-time Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for maintaining and building plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency in various plumbing techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems during new builds or remodeling projects
• Perform pipe threading, cutting, and soldering as needed
• Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues, providing effective solutions
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems or areas for improvement
• Collaborate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide recommendations for system upgrades or repairs
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Plumber license
• Proven experience in construction plumbing or related field
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
• Strong knowledge of pipe threading, cutting, and soldering techniques
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required
• Excellent mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems
• Familiarity with a wide range of hand tools used in the plumbing trade
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
