Plumber Technician

Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites. Conduct inspections to ensure plumbing work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project requirements. Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines. Assist with construction estimating by providing accurate assessments of materials and labor needs. Perform related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, concrete finishing, masonry work, roofing support, glass installation, cabinet mounting, framing carpentry, door hanging, painting touch-ups, flooring installation including tile laying, welding for specialized fixtures or repairs, and restoration projects. Operate heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in plumbing within construction or maintenance environments; prior experience with construction site management is highly desirable. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to plumbing systems. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and inspection procedures. Knowledge of electrical systems as they relate to plumbing components or related trades. Skilled in the use of hand tools (wrenches, pipe cutters), power tools (drills, saws), and heavy equipment operation. Experience working on diverse construction projects including remodeling, restoration, concrete forming, masonry, roofing support, glass installation, cabinet mounting, framing carpentry, door hanging, painting touch-ups, flooring (tile laying), welding repairs or fabrication. Ability to read technical schematics accurately and follow detailed instructions. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. "TGIT01"
