Plumbing Dispatcher / Service Coordinator

Daniels Plumbing is a family-owned plumbing company based in Tomball, Texas. We are hiring a strong, organized, high-accountability Dispatcher who can help drive the daily operation of our service team. This is not just an "answer the phones and book calls" position. We need someone who can keep the day moving, support technicians in the field, communicate well with customers, and help bring structure, urgency, and consistency to the schedule. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced service environment, can think ahead, solve problems in real time, and take ownership of the board each day. What You'll Do

• Dispatch and route plumbing technicians efficiently throughout the day.
• Keep the schedule full and productive while balancing urgency, geography, and technician skill set.
• Communicate with customers regarding appointment timing, schedule updates, and technician arrival windows.
• Work closely with technicians to manage call flow, job progress, and same-day opportunities.
• Help maximize technician productivity and reduce downtime.
• Support the office by answering phones, assisting with scheduling, following up on open calls, and handling light administrative tasks when dispatch volume is lower.
• Keep notes, call status, and customer information accurate in the system.
• Help create a calm, controlled, and accountable daily operation rather than reactive chaos.
• Coordinate effectively with office leadership and field staff to support company growth. What We're Looking For
• Prior dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination experience preferred.
• Home service experience strongly preferred, especially plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or similar trades.
• Strong phone and customer communication skills.
• Ability to think quickly, prioritize, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
• Comfortable managing multiple moving pieces at once.
• Strong sense of urgency without losing professionalism.
• Able to hold technicians accountable while maintaining positive working relationships.
• Confident using scheduling or dispatch software; ServiceTitan experience is a major plus.
• Basic computer and office software skills.
• Must be able to work in person from the Tomball office.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds. What Success Looks Like

Pay:

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
