Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plumbing Job Foreman to lead and oversee plumbing projects on construction sites. This role is vital in ensuring that plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. As a Plumbing Job Foreman, you will coordinate teams of skilled tradespeople, interpret blueprints and schematics, and ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations. Your leadership will drive project success from start to finish, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes quality workmanship and timely completion. Responsibilities Lead and supervise plumbing crews on construction sites, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to meet project deadlines. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation and repair activities accurately. Ensure all plumbing work adheres to safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to facilitate seamless workflow and resolve on-site issues promptly. Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and other construction tools safely and effectively. Conduct quality inspections of plumbing installations, repairs, and remodeling work to maintain high standards of craftsmanship. Manage inventory of materials and supplies needed for plumbing tasks while minimizing waste and ensuring timely procurement. Requirements Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong background in commercial or large-scale projects. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, HVAC systems, and mechanical drawings. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and other construction machinery confidently. Knowledge of plumbing systems including pipe installation, remodeling, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in field service operations related to plumbing systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required on construction sites. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation. Experience with carpentry or handyman work is a plus for versatile project support. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to operate company vehicles as needed for site access or material transport.
