Plumbing Sales Consultant

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Plumbing Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This is a sales-focused position designed for someone with plumbing knowledge and strong customer communication skills. The ideal candidate understands residential plumbing systems and can confidently present solutions and pricing to homeowners, but will not be performing physical plumbing repairs or installations. In this role, the Plumbing Sales Consultant will meet with customers after a technician has diagnosed the issue, review recommended repairs or replacement options, prepare estimates, and close sales. The goal is to provide homeowners with a professional, informative, and pressure-free experience while helping grow company revenue. Responsibilities Meet with homeowners after plumbing issues have been diagnosed by technicians Review technician findings and explain repair or replacement options to customers Prepare and present estimates and scope of work Build trust with customers through professionalism and product knowledge Close sales for plumbing repairs, sewer replacements, water heater installations, drain services, and related work Follow up on pending estimates and unsold jobs Coordinate with office staff and field technicians regarding sold work Maintain accurate job notes, photos, and customer records Educate customers on available options, warranties, and financing if applicable Maintain a professional appearance and customer-first attitude at all times Requirements Plumbing industry experience required Strong understanding of residential plumbing systems and terminology Previous sales experience preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable discussing pricing and closing sales Ability to build rapport and confidence with homeowners Organized and detail-oriented Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to use tablets, smartphones, and estimate software Important Position Details This is a sales-only position No plumbing repairs or installations will be required Candidate will work alongside technicians to help convert diagnosed jobs into sold work Plumbing knowledge is required to confidently explain recommended work to customers What We Offer Competitive base pay Commission and bonus opportunities Company-provided leads Growth opportunities within the company Supportive team environment Steady workflow and year-round opportunities

Pay:
