PM Lube Truck helper 2nd Shift

Overview Join our team as a PM Lube Truck Helper on the 2nd Shift and become a vital part of our fleet support program! You will assist experienced technicians in performing maintenance services on a wide range of construction and on-highway equipment. Machines like excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, backhoes, cranes, crash trucks, cone trucks, etc require different levels of service depending on the hours. Furthermore the work has to be done onsite and in the field. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your mechanical skills, gain hands-on experience in equipment repair, and contribute to our goal of safely maximizing uptime while minimizing costs. Duties Support service technicians by assisting with routine maintenance tasks such as engine oil and filter changes, fuel filter changes, greasing machines, hydraulic tank oil replacement and final drive oil changes, among other things. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform equipment servicing and maintenance procedures. Assist with equipment inspections, record safety and quality defects, and make minor repairs under supervision. Repetitively handle heavy lifting of parts and tooling for the equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service truck and work area and prioritize safety in all aspects of the job. Help with spotting the senior Lube Truck Mechanic when entering and exiting jobsites and moving around equipment. Requirements Diesel repair and powertrain experience is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Basic mechanical knowledge with familiarity in periodic maintenance and service procedures. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and following directions is key Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail for equipment inspections and maintenance tasks and record keeping. Work outdoors through changing seasons and during evening hours of operation. Excellent communication skills for working effectively with team members and management Prior experience in automotive service is a plus but not required Embark on your preventative maintenance career journey with us! Pay:

$17.50 - $22.50 per hour
