Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated law enforcement team as a Police Officer, where you will play a vital role in maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and building trust within the community. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to engage in proactive policing, conduct investigations, and provide assistance during emergencies. As a Police Officer, you will be at the forefront of law enforcement efforts, utilizing your skills to uphold justice and foster community well-being. Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents, providing immediate assistance and support. Conduct criminal investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports. Patrol assigned areas on foot or vehicle to deter crime and ensure public safety. Enforce laws and regulations related to traffic control, public order, and criminal activity. Engage with community members to build positive relationships and promote safety awareness. Utilize surveillance techniques to monitor suspicious activity and prevent unlawful behavior. Apply first aid and CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals during emergencies. Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management skills to de-escalate tensions. Maintain accurate records through detailed report writing on daily activities, incidents, and investigations. Operate law enforcement vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and driving regulations. Assist in special operations such as surveillance work as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and decisiveness. Prior experience or training in law enforcement, military service, or security is highly desirable but not required. Knowledge of criminal investigation techniques, report writing standards, and law enforcement procedures is highly desirable but not required. Certification in first aid, CPR, and conflict management is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in driving law enforcement vehicles is a plus. Must be 21 years of age. Must have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse community members and preparing comprehensive reports. Pay:
$34,528.00 - $41,002.00 per year
