is seeking a full-time, reliable, and detail-oriented Pool Attendant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in creating a beautiful environment, enjoys being outdoors, and loves interacting with guests. Think of this role as the "hospitality and care" heartbeat of our pool areas. No prior pool maintenance experience is required—we are fully prepared to train the right person! We are looking for individuals who are punctual, eager to learn, and dedicated to keeping our aquatic spaces pristine and welcoming. Positions require some nights, weekends and holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a friendly, welcoming presence on the pool deck. Greet guests, answer general resort questions, and ensure everyone has a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. Maintain the visual appeal and cleanliness of the pool decks, lounge seating, surrounding areas, and towel stations. Straighten chairs, clear debris, and ensure trash containers are emptied regularly. Perform daily surface skimming, vacuuming, and basic brushing of pools and hot tubs to ensure water looks crystal clear and inviting. Conduct regular walkthroughs of the aquatic areas to ensure everything is tidy, organized, and matching our high standards of resort presentation. Monitor the pool areas for any mechanical, safety, or water quality issues. Promptly escalate anything out of the ordinary to our Lead Pool Technician or Pool Supervisor for resolution. Maintain clear emergency walkways and respond quickly to guest requests, including supporting guests with accessibility needs to ensure safe use of our pool facilities. Assist with daily setup (setting up loungers/towels) and breakdown (securing equipment, tidying the deck) at the start and end of the day. Work alongside the Resort Attendant and Facilities teams to support overall resort operations as needed. Have a thorough understanding of the amenities and directions to / from resort. Participate in team meetings and training sessions. Assist in enforcing resort rules and maintaining a relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere for all guests. Due to changing operational demands and the need to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to undertake various functions that are not specifically related to this position. This individual may be required to carry out additional tasks and duties as needed or as directed. Additionally, employee responsibilities and job descriptions are subject to review and modification.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work evenings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays required. A proven track record of showing up on time, ready to work, and taking accountability for your schedule. Previous experience working around commercial pools, lifeguarding, or hospitality environments is a plus An open mind and an eagerness to learn our daily procedures, safety protocols, and hospitality standards. Ability to speak, read, and understand English to interact professionally with guests and communicate effectively with teammates. High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Reliability, punctuality, and professional communication skills are critical. Ability to work under pressure with a high level of patience and customer service. CPR and first aid certification a plus and /or the willingness to be trained. Ability to walk or stand and move about the resort (both indoors and outdoors) for eight or more hours per day, sit, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures, and the capacity to communicate effectively and professionally. The person in this position will need to be comfortable working in an indoor/outdoor use space and in extreme weather conditions.
