Pool Attendant - Margaritaville Resort Orlando

JOB SUMMARY

The pool attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of the pool area and surrounding grounds and ensuring guest satisfaction by servicing guests as needed.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains pool area quality standards by thoroughly performing all cleaning duties; blower, pressure washing, litter picking, trash removal, cleaning chairs, cabanas & restroom care, high dusting, umbrella repairs, painting, chemical readings, brushing and netting pool, and completing projects assigned by manager. Promotes and provides exemplary guest service for both internal and external customers Answers questions and offers information in a courteous manner. Responsible for monitoring inventory (cleaning supplies, paper products) for specific assigned work areas Understands and demonstrates the proper use of safety practices & ensures training standards are maintained for the department Completing AM or PM inspections and work orders as needed Coordinates with Technician to ensure all water quality requirements are met including, but not limited to, testing water and recording test results Implement and monitor opening and closing procedures to comply with safety and cleanliness requirements Inspect pool equipment including mechanical operations and leisure areas; to maintain and uphold quality standards Understand and apply all company policies, rules and regulations consistently Overtime as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

( Competencies, skills, attributes, experience, licenses, certifications, required) Valid Florida driver's license Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to pass background check High School Diploma, G.E.D. Experience working in a hotel or resort a plus Must be fluent in oral and written English Bending, lifting, follow directions Able to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments
