Pool Desk Attendant

The Pool Desk Attendant serves as the first point of contact for the members at Wychmere's private Beach Club. Attendants greet patrons, enact facility entry procedures, enforce membership policies, track member guests, accurately process and track all cash/card transactions, and answer member questions courteously and promptly.

Schedule:

• Must be able to work from Mid-June 15th through the end of August
• Day Shift Availability
• Weekend availability required

• Ability to clearly communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time throughout shift

Core Duties:

This is intended to represent the key duties for this position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Fully understand and enforce entry policies and procedures
• Keep all required log books and paperwork up to date
• Check in members for swim lessons, swim team and pool entry daily
• Maintain the pool desk area and ensure cleanliness and a welcoming environment for all patrons
• Assist members with purchasing club merchandise including cash/card transactions, logging proper purchases and retaining receipts/records
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Director of Beach & Pools for daily business needs.
