Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pool Installer to join our team. We will consider hiring people with no pool experience but they would need to have skills that could carry over into pools. The Pool Installer will be responsible for installing various types of pools, including in-ground and above-ground pools, according to specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pool construction techniques, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:

Work with foreman to conduct site assessments to determine the best location for pool installation, considering factors such as soil composition, drainage, and local regulations. Prepare the installation site by excavating, leveling, and compacting the ground as needed. Install pool walls, frames, liners, and other components according to manufacturer instructions and industry standards. Assemble and install pool filtration systems, pumps, and plumbing connections. Test pool equipment to ensure proper functioning and address any issues promptly. Backfill and compact soil around the pool to provide structural support and prevent shifting. Apply finishes, such as concrete, tile, or decking, around the pool perimeter as required. Fill the pool with water and ensure proper chemical balance for safe and comfortable swimming. Provide clients with instructions for pool maintenance and operation. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or concerns related to pool installation.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Pool Installer or similar role in the construction industry. In-depth knowledge of pool construction techniques, materials, and equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients. Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems related to pool installation. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., Certified Pool Operator) preferred. Commitment to safety and adherence to established safety protocols and guidelines.
