Job Description

Pool Service Attendant Quinn's Hot Springs 190 Quinn's Canyon Road, Route 135, Paradise, MT 59856 From $18 an hour - Full-time From $18 an hour - Full-time It's likely you've seen our beautiful hot springs, our crown jewel! Did you know we won the 2023 Distinctly Montana awards for Best Hot Springs and Best Hot Springs Resort? In order to provide the best customer service to our guests, we would like to add a couple more people to our pools team. Our mission is HAPPINESS and this is where the magic happens. to our guests? Exceptional customer service, excellent communication skills, and a willingness/ability to learn the basics in pool operations. This is a Full Time opening: Hours and Shifts vary, evenings and weekends required. Responsibilities:
Checking guests in and out. Answering phones and providing guests with answers to all questions related to the pools and the resort in general. Providing water to the guests. Monitoring and addressing guest behavior in the pools as necessary. Washing, drying, and folding laundry, restocking towel bins. Monitoring the cleanliness and upkeep of the changing rooms, restocking products (toilet paper, paper towels, feminine napkin dispenser bags, etc.), set out trash for night maintenance. Maintaining and preparing for the morning arrival of guests by monitoring the cleanliness of the pool area by picking up discarded cups/trash, arranging/straightening deck furniture, turn of fire pits, etc. Preparing wristbands, restocking, label and log lost & found items, dump carafes and clean out coffee area, etc. Learning and monitoring the health of pools. Learning the various functions and responsibilities associated with the pump room. Candidate must be comfortable learning this and performing basic functions nightly. Vacuuming and skimming the pools as necessary. Adding chemicals to the pools as directed. Focus on monitoring outdoor guest activity. Must be willing and able to work outside in all temperatures. Provide pool temps to Guest Services, providing headcounts.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong computer skills, willingness and ability to learn new systems. Excellent communication skills. Ability to address behavior issues and determine the best course of action. Willingness/ability to learn the basic rules and guidelines of the pool complex area.
Experience:
Previous experience working with pools is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Position does require you to walk and be on your feet for most of the day. Frequent lifting, bending, stooping. Ability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted. (bags of salt and other chemicals).
Wage:
$18 per hour starting, wage review at 6 months. Lots of room to grow as you knowledge of the pool systems expands.
