Responsibilities Perform routine pool cleaning tasks including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and water balancing to ensure optimal water quality. Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems to identify issues early. Repair or replace faulty mechanical components using hand tools and power tools to keep pools functioning smoothly. Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules for each pool. Troubleshoot mechanical problems efficiently and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to protect yourself and clients' property. Assist with seasonal start-up and closing procedures to prepare pools for peak use or off-season periods. Experience Prior experience as a service technician or in a similar pool maintenance role is preferred. Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex equipment systems. Hands-on experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks involving pool machinery. Ability to plan pool routes and answer phone to customers. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly. Previous work involving service or technical support roles is advantageous but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
