Midwest Performance Cars is a multi-location, busy independent automotive repair shop specializing in German car repair and maintenance for 10+ years. We highly value our team, our customers and the quality of work we provide. We are currently searching for experienced technicians (5+ years) with European vehicles for our newest 3rd location in Westmont. Porsche Air cooled or classic car experience is a huge plus! We utilize a flat-rate pay structure with a multi-tier bonus system that covers all hours, with a 40 hour guarantee. Duties:

• Investigate & recommend repairs based on customer/client concerns with their European vehicle across, but not limited to: Porsche, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Land Rover, Jaguar
• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs
• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues such as: warning lights, transmission or driveline problems, brake malfunctions, and drivability issues using diagnostic tools & scan tool equipment
• Complete digital vehicle inspections, documenting client concerns & safety issues
• Test drive vehicles before & after to verify repairs What we ask of you:
• Team player mentality & desire to improve your skillset
• Ability to identify challenges, problem solve them and overcome them
• Bring your own tools and tool box
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Comfortable with completing digital inspections and computer interfaces
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment (PIWISII or PIWISIII, DrivePro, Autel, Picoscope, Alldata, Identifix, Ross-Tech)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Required to drive manual transmission
