Post-Baccalaureate Level 1 McLean Hospital United States, Massachusetts, Belmont 115 Mill Street (Show on map) May 07, 2026 Summary Responsible for assisting clinical professionals in providing behavioral and mental health services to patients in a hospital setting. This position supports patient care through assessments, research, and administrative tasks under supervision, gaining foundational experience in social work and behavioral health. Education Bachelor's Degree Required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience Experience or internships in social work, mental health, or a related field 0-1 year preferred but not necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to provide empathetic care and support to patients dealing with behavioral and mental health challenges.
  • Capable of assisting in research, data collection, and analyzing patient information.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and patient interactions efficiently.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility in handling a variety of tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical environment.
