Job Title:
Powder Coater Job Description As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for spraying powder coat material onto metal parts using a powder coating gun. The role requires you to manage parts positioned from 5 feet in the air to 8 inches off the ground, necessitating consistent standing, crouching, and bending to ensure thorough coverage. Responsibilities Use powder coating gun to apply powder coat material to metal parts. Ensure parts are fully coated by adjusting position from high to low levels. Stand, crouch, and bend consistently to cover all areas of the part. Read and interpret tape measures and blueprints. Perform general labor and assembly tasks. Essential Skills Ability to read tape measures and blueprints. Experience with assembly, hand tools, and power tools. 6+ months of experience in a production environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience as a technician/service technician, farm hand, or machine operator. Experience working with sheet metal machines. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a clean job shop dedicated to metal fabrication, housed in a brand new building located in South Lincoln. The workspace is bright and clean, and you will be part of a team of 17, working independently in the assembly department. The standard hours are 6am - 5pm from Monday to Thursday, with occasional overtime on Fridays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roca, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
