Shift Third:
5pm - 3:30am Sunday - Friday a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb;}tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6;}tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5;} Job Summary Responsible for applying powder coating finishes to parts and components, ensuring complete coverage and adherence to quality standards. This role includes setting up and maintaining coating equipment, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a clean work environment to prevent contamination. Essential Responsibilities Set up and maintain powder coating equipment, including wash systems, pre-treatment stations, and spray guns, following standard procedures. Apply powder coating finishes to simple and complex parts, ensuring 100% coverage and defect-free results (no blemishes, bare spots, or light areas). Perform routine housekeeping of coating booths and surrounding areas to prevent contamination, including cleaning, organizing, and disposing of materials. Complete required documentation related to production and quality checks. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to maintain consistent quality. Adapt to quality control requirements and make necessary adjustments during production. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and written instructions. 2-5 years of experience in powder coating application processes. Strong understanding of coating techniques and quality standards. Ability to wear a respirator and comply with all safety requirements. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform frequent standing, bending, pushing, and pulling. Dependable and accountable work habits.
