In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of powersports equipment, including motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on powersports vehicles using specialized automotive and powersports diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance including engine work, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, electrical troubleshooting, and assembly of new units. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and heavy lifting techniques to complete service tasks efficiently and safely. Reassemble vehicles with precision, ensuring all components meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance advice to enhance vehicle longevity. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure transparency and quality control. Assist with sales by demonstrating knowledge of powersports products and recommending suitable accessories or upgrades when appropriate. Requirements Proven dealership experience or service technician background working with powersports or automotive vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance, brake repair, suspension systems, and automotive diagnostics. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering devices, and other mechanical instruments. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Experience with assembly of new vehicles or parts is highly desirable. Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including welding and suspension work is a plus.
