Pre-K 2 Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the children have good hygiene and changing diapers/pull ups as necessary.
• Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day.
• Serve and supervise meals and snacks for the children.
• Organize activities and participate with the children.
• Follow the lesson plan and schedule.
• Keep records of each child's progress, interests, and any problems that may occur.
• Maintain contact with the children's parents and relaying information from throughout the day.
• Provide a safe and educational environment for the children.
• Supervise play and nap time.
• Provide responsible care and maintain all safety standards.
• Ensure the classroom is sanitary and in order.
• Maintain a professional and positive relationship with parents, children, and staff.
• Frequent cleaning duties around the center.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt them to meet the needs of individual students
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Passion for working with children and promoting their welfare
• You must be flexible to work any shift between 6:45am-6:00pm.
