Precision CNC Machinist (3, 4, & 5-Axis) Aerospace

The Role:

What You'll Do Expert Setup & Operation:

Perform complex setups and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC Mills to produce high-precision aerospace components.

Precision Control:

Interpret complex blueprints and utilize GD&T to ensure every part meets rigorous flight standards.

Optimization:

Read and edit CNC code; proactively adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling to optimize cycle times and tool life.

Quality Mastery:

Use CMM, precision gauges, and boresights to self-inspect work and maintain "zero-defect" targets.

Collaboration:

Partner with Engineering and Quality teams to troubleshoot new jobs and refine manufacturing processes. What You Bring to the

Bench Experience:

5+ years of CNC Machining experience. Advanced setup capability is required.

Technical Chops:

Proficiency in editing G-code and working with exotic/hard metals (Inconel, Titanium, Stainless).

Precision Mindset:

Strong understanding of GD&T and the ability to hold tolerances as tight as $\pm 0.0002$. The "Plus"

Factor:

Previous experience in an AS9100 or aerospace environment is a major advantage.
