Prep Cook/Baker

Prep Cook Looking for Additional Experiences Vegan- and vegetarian-friendly full-service restaurant is looking for a multi-talented prep cook and baker to work in a scratch kitchen. A plus if you have other kitchen interests, like pastry work , to round out your time. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring the standard of ingredients and resulting products
• Preparing the ovens and equipment
• Measuring and weighing wet and dry ingredients
• Using mixers to blend the ingredients
• Carefully following recipes to achieve consistent (and delicious) results
• Using knife skills to prep food efficiently and effectively
• Following procedures for dough rising and resting
• Kneading and shaping the dough
• Baking items in ovens or grills and setting timer
• Working with kitchen manager to order supplies

Job Types:

Part-time, Full-time Pay:

$15.00 - $19.00 per hour
