Preschool Custodian

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and friendly individual to join our church community as a Preschool Custodian. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our preschool classrooms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various custodial tasks (provided by the Preschool Director), while maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests and members.

Preschool Director/Facilities Manager Responsibilities:

Cleaning all preschool classrooms Perform routine cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, glass cleaning, trash and recycling removal. Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies. Maintain the appearance of interior spaces.

Requirements:

Physical fitness and the ability to perform various custodial tasks, including lifting and carrying 50 pounds, bending, picking things up from the ground and prolonged standing. Experience in custodial work is preferred. Attention to detail is imperative. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the preschool facilities. High level of responsibility and dedication to ensure the premises are well-maintained and inviting.

Salary and Benefits:

Starting pay is $15 per hour at 10 hours per week, depending on experience and training. Pay is via Direct deposit with payday being every two weeks. As a Preschool Custodian, you will play an essential role in maintaining the church's appearance and ensuring a positive experience for all who visit.
