Preschool Gymnastics and Sports Coach

About us The Gym Station is a small business in Austin, TX. We are creative, rewarding, fun and our goal is to have fun teaching children all about dance, gymnastics, various sports and living a healthy, active lifestyle. The schools that we service are mainly around central Austin. Mainly west Austin, northwest Austin, north Austin, and northeast Austin.

We are seeking a Preschool Coach to join our organization! This individual should love working with children and have a passion for dance and fitness! This job is a mobile position and does require a lot of driving. You will also be required to pass a stringent background check. This position would be Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm. An occasional weekend, early mornings or nights required at the end of August and the beginning of January. You also get paid break from 11:30-2:30 every day.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Instruct preschool-aged children in Dance or a fitness class. Create a fun and safe learning environment. Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents and schools Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress through monthly report cards. Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in childcare, teaching, dancing and overall fitness. Passionate about fitness and working with children Ability to build rapport with children Fun, exciting, positive and patient demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have reliable transportation as this job requires a lot of driving Must be able to pass stringent background check

Full-time Salary:

$35,000.00 -$45,000 /year. We also help our our coaches with gas by giving them $150 per pay period and we pay bi-weekly.
