Preschool Lead Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula that promote early childhood education, literacy, social-emotional growth, and physical development. Your leadership will ensure a safe, inclusive space where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Duties Create a warm, welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills among preschool children. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and effective classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides to maintain high-quality childcare standards. Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings for 6 months minimum, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Experience with classroom management tools and lesson planning for early childhood education environments. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, colleagues, and community partners.

Pay:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
