Preschool Lead Teacher

Seeking dedicated, compassionate, and motivated applicants to join the Strong Foundations team! This position includes providing direct small group and 1-on-1 pre-academic and ABA services to children and adolescents with autism and related disabilities. Individuals with their Head Teacher certification are preferred, but the credential is not necessary to apply.

• experience as a head teacher in an integrated preschool program with an emphasis on hands-on learning.
• experience with data collection and ABA
• strength in lesson planning, based on individual goals and objectives
• working directly with individuals with autism and related disabilities, including individuals who are non-verbal
• experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team
• managing a classroom with multiple support staff present
• maintaining a consistent classroom routine, schedule and communication with support staff
• holding and attending team meetings
• maintaining open and professional communication with parents
• progress monitoring (weekly) and progress reporting (monthly)
• punctual, creative, organized, assertive yet compassionate and caring.
