• Full-time Sprout Early Care & Preschool is a small business located in Kalamazoo and Otsego, MI.

We are social, fast-paced, fun, and our goal is to build a dynamic team by hiring fun, professional, nurturing teachers that will have a positive effect on the families and children we care for. Our center is open from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Hours may vary due to needs of the center. Our goal is to hire a qualified lead preschool teacher to provide a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment to all of the families we serve in the community.

Requirements:

• CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Preschool Child Development Associate (Preferred)
• Minimum 1-year experience working with children
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the well-being of all children & have a passion to work with children
• Possess a high school diploma
• Be able to kneel, squat, lift, bend, and carry children of various sizes and weights
• Have reliable transportation
• Ability to work at a fast pace
