Preschool Music Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Music Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with vpk and early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Conduct special programs put on by the students throughout the school year. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support childhood development milestones, including toddler care and early intervention strategies. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address individual needs, and promote child welfare. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including behavior management, and maintaining a structured learning environment. Incorporate Montessori principles or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences when appropriate. Skills Strong background in curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children with experience in music education. Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings; familiarity with classroom management techniques. Knowledge of special education needs and early intervention methods to support diverse learners. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to plan engaging programs that incorporate and promote the students are learning. Experience with classroom experience including lesson planning, behavior management, and childhood development strategies. Familiarity with childcare regulations, child welfare practices.
