The Nolensville location is locally owned and operated. Our supportive owners are onsite daily. Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Support Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster each child's development while supporting classroom activities and curriculum implementation. Duties Assist teachers in executing age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards. Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through engaging activities. Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to promote a respectful learning environment. Facilitate literacy education, math activities, physical education, and other curriculum components to enhance holistic growth. Collaborate with team members to implement individualized plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention programs. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage parents effectively. Ability to manage classroom behavior positively while fostering an inclusive atmosphere.
