Preschool Teacher - 1+ YRS. EXP. REQ.

The Academy of Lovejoy is currently seeking experienced, qualified, fun loving candidates who are passionate about children and early childhood education, nurturing, excellent interpersonal skills with parents and staff and can multi task. If you have the love for children, teaching and have excellent communication skills. This is the position for you. Our ideal candidate must have a CDA or higher (Or currently enrolled or plan to enroll in CDA class) We are looking for a highly motivated and creative teacher. We are seeking full time and part time professional teachers. Applicants MUST have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a lead teacher in a daycare setting. Applicant must have a stable work history and excellent references. We offer competitive pay.

QUALIFICATIONS

o Applicant must have high energy o Ability to work as a team o Experience planning activities, art projects, & creative lesson plans for children o Must attend Georgia Bright From the Start training's to meet required hours

RESPONSIBILITIES

o Teach a classroom of students o Create weekly lesson plans o Excellent communication with parents, children, and other staff members o Monitor classroom behavior as well as playground activities o Ensure classroom is cleaned daily o Create weekly art projects that correspond with lesson plan
