Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their earliest stages of childhood development. In this vital role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Your dedication will help shape the future of our students by fostering a love for learning through innovative lesson planning, effective classroom management, and personalized attention. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management Plan and execute engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental needs of preschool children Support children's emotional well-being by promoting social interactions, conflict resolution, and self-regulation strategies Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor progress, address individual needs, and support early intervention efforts when necessary Maintain accurate records of student activities, assessments, and developmental milestones in compliance with educational policies Incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences where applicable Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; classroom experience preferred Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Ability to implement behavior management techniques that promote positive conduct and safety Knowledge of special education practices and literacy education methods is a plus Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable; Montessori certification is a bonus Passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning from an early age Join us in shaping the future by providing high-quality early childhood education that inspires curiosity, confidence, and joy in every child!
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
