This vital role involves creating a warm, engaging classroom environment where children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a love of learning through innovative lesson planning, effective classroom management, and compassionate child engagement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while working in a dynamic educational setting. Duties Develop and implement creative curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, math skills, and physical activity. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to active learning and social-emotional growth. Manage daily classroom activities, including behavior management strategies to support positive interactions and discipline. Engage with children through age-appropriate teaching methods, sensory activities, and early intervention strategies. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any special education needs. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress. Incorporate childcare best practices, preschool techniques, and early childhood education standards into daily routines. Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool settings; prior preschool experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students. Ability to create engaging activities that promote social skills, cognitive development, and emotional well-being.
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
