• Our teachers, feel supported, empowered and part of a team. A brief description of our lead teachers' responsibilities will include:
• Creating activities and opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration and problem solving appropriate to the developmental levels and learning styles of children through well-defined interest areas.
• Ensuring all policies and procedures to keep the children healthy and safe are being implemented.
• Develop, plan, and prepare instructional aids and/or materials for classroom activities.
• Dedicated Curriculum prep time
• Ensure that the physical, social, and emotional needs of the children are met daily.
• Assist children with mealtimes and cleanup.
• Ensure that all classroom and outdoor equipment are in good working condition and are used and maintained properly.
• Direct activities of other staff in the classroom to ensure that the classroom functions in an orderly manner.
• Interact with parents and maintain open communication to encourage family engagement.
• The requirements for this position include:
• 12 ECE units (required)
• 6 months experience in a licensed childcare center
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification and Mandated Reporter Training (renewed every 2 years) What we offer:
