Preschool Teacher & Infant-Toddler Lead Caregiver

The Cole Academy provides Hawaii's finest nationally accredited early childhood education and childcare for children ages 6 weeks through 6 years. Our preschool and daycare services are available year-round and island-wide, including Honolulu, Mililani, Kapolei, Windward Oahu, and Hawaii Island (Kona-Kohala). Responsibilities and Duties Responsible, under the supervision of the Center Director, to establish and implement goals and objectives using our developmentally appropriate curriculum that meet the individual needs of the children Establish and maintain regular, on-going communication with parents Maintain positive, nurturing attitude towards each individual child; and utmost, to ensure the health and safety of the children in the care of the Academy. Follows Cole Academy policies and procedures, DHS licensing rules and regulations, and NECPA guidelines for developmentally appropriate practices for preschoolers. Qualifications and Skills No experience necessary for Aide & Assistant positions.

For Lead positions:

Education and experience required for the I/T "Lead Caregiver" and GCC "Lead Teacher" qualification under DHS Early Childhood Registry.
