Job Description

Relocation assistance available Facility Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Location Fayetteville, North Carolina Department Harnett Administration Job Family Management Work Shift Days (United States of America) Summary Drive the Health System's mission through strategic growth and daily leadership of Harnett Health's inpatient and outpatient services. This role oversees operational excellence, implements strategic policies, and builds a high-performing team of medical professionals to enhance community health services. To build meaningful relationships with political and community leaders. Major Job Functions The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job. The incumbent may perform other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below. In addition, specific functions may change from time to time: Oversee day-to-day operations of inpatient and outpatient services on the Harnett campus Implement referral process for inpatient and specialty referrals from Harnett markets to the medical center. Work with specialty physicians; grow specialty physician practices within the services of Harnett County. Develop service line growth of system initiatives. Implement tracking and referral processes into the physician practices. Growth of ancillary services and report response within the Harnett system of care Growth of local service lines, i.e., imaging, surgery, consulting specialty services etc. Supports physician recruitment and growth of primary care and specialty physicians' development/operations. Maintain and exceed outcomes for patient satisfaction. Maintain and exceed clinical outcomes. Works with Finance leadership to develop and adhere to financial budget. Coordinates with corporate service line leadership to ensure efficient delivery of services and support for regional leadership and staff. Community relations presentations for community and physicians. Adheres to organizational/departmental health and safety standards. Participates in organizational/departmental based quality improvement services. Participates in committees, work groups, and task forces as appropriate. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications The following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job:
Education and Formal Training:
Master's degree in business or health care administration is required.
Work Experience:
5 years administrative experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Verbal ability is required to effectively express ideas and views when speaking to Medical Center/System personnel. Ability to build relationships with community/political leaders. Numerical ability required to interpret and evaluate statistical data used in planning Medical Center/System operations and budgets. Organizational ability is required to plan and control the activities of one or more Medical Center/System departments, divisions or functions and to recognize and establish priorities. Capacity to relate to people from various professional and non-professional backgrounds in a manner which wins confidence and establishes support for the goals and objectives of the Medical Center/System and its Administration. Preference for activities involving the leadership and guidance of professional and non-professional personnel and for participating in policy and decision-making processes for the Medical Center/System. Flexibility to adjust to changing conditions and the various details of the job.
