Job Description

We design, develop and manufacture case packers and tray packing solutions for flexible and other tough-to-handle packages such as doypacks, pillow bags, and four-sided sealed bags. Position:
We are currently seeking a Press Brake Operator at our South Chesterfield, VA location. The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining CNC press brake machines to bend, shape and form metal parts according to blueprints and specifications. Duties include but are not limited to: Setup and operation of press brake. Organize and inventory raw materials. Operate grinders, for proper deburring of parts. Manage material flow of finished goods and unfinished goods Maintain functionality and cleanliness of relevant equipment Work closely with fabrication, assembly and engineering team members. Follow established fabrication procedures and standards. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 1-3 years of fabrication shop experience. Demonstrated ability to select correct dies and tooling. Demonstrated ability to calculate material stretch out and bending length. Demonstrated ability to distinguish between various types of typical materials. Ability to use measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, combination square and angle indicators. Ability to determine sequence of forming operations to efficiently manufacture parts start to finish. Ability to determine appropriate tooling for use on various materials and operations (dies and correct V-opening on bottom dies). Basic understanding of machine limitations such as bending tonnage, etc. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Ability to plan and organize work to maximize efficiency. Ability to determine the type, size, and shape of materials. Basic understanding of geometry concepts.
